One of the most valuable ideas for me in my meditation practice in Daniel Ingram’s Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha is that of distinguishing content from insight. This maps beautifully onto Leslie Dewart’s methodology in Evolution and Consciousness, adopting a phenomenological rather than an ontological approach to the study of human nature.
